FEBRUARY 8-10: EXCELLENT SAGITTARIUS MOON

MOON ENTERS SAGITTARIUS at 8:53am EST on Thursday, February 8 after a VOID OF COURSE early morning, and remains in Sag until 11:38am on Saturday, February 10. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Trine Uranus in Aries. Ruled by Jupiter, this Mutable Fire Moon period will most likely see us needing a lot of Freedom and Independence. It's an exciting time to take off on an adventure of great import! Sag is the Truth Seeker with a strong moral sense so any project with a philosophical or spiritual orientation is perfect to begin now. Whatever your Belief System might be, this is a powerful time to take it to the next level of awareness and action. Sag also rules Publishing while Uranus symbolizes the electronic arena, so push that send button on your computer for your current digital projects during this Moon period! Try to be conscious of creating a container for your imagination - a context, a time-limit or concrete support of some kind. Fire needs Earth to ground itself, and this combination is a whole lot of passionate Fire! Actions initiated during this time will tend to have EXCELLENT resolutions.

SAGITTARIUS SCENE FOR THE DAY: Robin Hood, 2010; Director: Ridley Scott. Moon in Sag is beautifully represented by Maid Marion in Scott's version of Robin Hood...the Feminine Archer. In this short collection of interviews and scenes we witness her courage, independence and physical prowess with a bow and arrow. Her willingness to stand up to to any man, be it her father-in-law (Max von Sydow), assassin Godfrey (Mark Strong) or Robin himself (Russel Crowe) is a tribute to this Centaurian archetype. In one interview Marion is referred to as having a moral backbone and finds her match in Robin of the Hood - which I never realized means, Robin of the Forest - alluding to the coverage of the trees!
