DECEMBER 1-2: CAUTIOUSLY GOOD TAURUS MOON

MOON ENTERS TAURU$ at 3:38pm EST on Thursday, November 30 - after being VOID OF COURSE since 1:37pm. It remains in Taurus until Friday, December 1 at 8:53pm when it goes VOID OF COURSE for the rest of the night. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Trine Pluto in Capricorn. This Last Aspect to Pluto indicates resources which Taurus loves to make use of - especially money! This would have been a great time to make purchases, but with the coming of Mercury’s Retrograde on the 3rd, we’re in the 3-day-before caution zone now and things are likely not to go according to plan. The STATION begins when the planet appears to remain still (slows down in its orbit and stays in the same degree for a few days) before it appears to be traveling backwards. Enjoy Taurus’ love of the earthy sensuous world and treat your body to the delights it so deserves. Ruled by Venus, it serves us to engage in artistic endeavors and have Beauty all around us for inspiration. As Master Builder, Taurus also loves to create and provide security for loved ones. Actions initiated during this time tend to have Cautiously GOOD Resolutions!

TAURUS SCENE FOR THE DAY: Out of Africa, 1985; Director: Sydney Pollack. Sensuous is the operative Taurean word here. Of course the scene begins with earthy hippos emerging from a muddy pond and segues to Redford washing Streep's tangled hair. This is one of the most visually memorable cinematic moments for we romantics - and it's mostly because Streep's inner life is expressed so precisely and authentically on that exquisite face of which we can't take our eyes off...the expression of utter satisfaction and appreciation for his tender care-taking gesture. Water can be quite the resource.

NOVEMBER 28-30: CAUTIOUSLY GOOD ARIES MOON

MOON ENTERS ARIES at 11:30am EST on Tuesday, November 28 after a VOID OF COURSE morning and remains here until Thursday, November 30 at 1:37pm. It goes VOID OF COURSE at this time until 3:38pm. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Trine Mercury in Sagittarius. Ruled by Mars, this Cardinal Fire sign is the first sign of the zodiac and is likely to reflect a very active and spirited Moon period. Aries is the Warrior archetype and it’s a GOOD time to use this abundant energy for launching projects, especially highly physical ones. There's also the possibility of beginning a long-distance journey. Mercury in Sagittarius (another Fire sign) suggests a heightened ability to see the bigger picture, though being 'in detriment' details may be overlooked and timing may be off - so pay attention. Take a deep breath and reconsider consequences before impulsive words fly out of your mouth, although any disputes should end well. I'm going to say that this is the Last Chance Café of Good Days before MERCURY GOES RETROGRADE on December 3 when communication gets tricky for about a month. Note, though, that Mercury enters the 3-day caution period on the 30th before it goes Retrograde. Let’s say the 28th and 29th are still clear sailing, but resist initiating important actions on the 30th. With all this Fire, we’re likely to begin feeling increased tension as we build toward the FULL MOON which also occurs on December 3...a double whammy!

ARIES SCENE FOR THE DAY: The Newsroom, "We Just Decided To," Season 1 Episode 1, 2012; Director: Greg Mottola; Creator and Writer: Aaron Sorkin. Yes, I'm on a Sorkin kick. Unexpected radical words erupt from Will McAvoy's (Jeff Daniels) repressed mouth during a university-based political panel discussion. While seeing the bigger picture, news director/anchorman McAvoy manages to insult everyone in sight. His manic Aries rant initiates global discussions about whether America is actually the Greatest Country in the World. It also sets up the ongoing tension for one of the most gripping and relevant television dramas ever - and it does it with basically no sex, drugs or rock 'n roll. Well there is some sex, drugs and rock 'n roll...but the ability to compel an audience with primarily news-based content for three seasons is a pretty amazing accomplishment. As with the The West Wing, Sorkin's lead characters make many of us yearn for the moment they might step out of the screen into our political reality - reminiscent of Daniel's role in Woody Allen's Purple Rose of Cairo. You have to watch the entire first season of The Newsroom to see how this particular conflict is successfully resolved but...boy, what a fiery and satisfying ride it is!

NOVEMBER 26-28: CHALLENGING PISCES MOON

MOON ENTERS PISCES at 3:04am EST on Sunday, November 26 and remains here until Tuesday, November 28 at 7:09am. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Square Mercury in Sagittarius. This Mutable Water sign is ruled by King of the Cosmic Sea, Neptune. All is One and One is All for this archetype which knows no boundaries or definition. It is the sign of the Divine, of Compassion, of Unity. Challenged by the Square to Mercury is likely to find us somewhat confused, or even angry, when attempting to interpret others’ communication or when trying to access just the right words ourselves. Setting off on a journey may find us lost or encountering subtle obstacles along the way. It might behoove us to turn to the Artist inside and use this energy for creating something beautiful, poetic or cathartic. Meditation, music and our imagination in general are the best vehicles for travel now. And FILM (images) is also ruled by Neptune! A GREAT Sunday for being transported by a 'celluloid' story. Otherwise, practical actions, especially communications, initiated during this nebulous and perhaps surreal Moon period will tend to have CHALLENGING results.

PISCES SCENE FOR THE DAY: West Wing, Two Cathedrals, Season 2 Episode 22; 2001; Director: Thomas Schlamme; Writer: Aaron Sorkin. President Bartlett's 'big sister' old-time friend and Secretary is hit by a drunk driver and killed at a climactic moment in his presidency when he's about to announce his concealed MS to the public. In this scene, after her funeral service, the President (Martin Sheen❤️) embarks on a rant to God. Dolores Landingham's (Katherine Joosten) death has pushed him to the edge and he can no longer contain his rage. His catharsis is part of a process which leads him to make one of the most important decisions of his presidency. Once again, Sorkin takes us on a literary ride of shock and awe with this brilliant monologue.

NOVEMBER 23-25: GOOD AQUARIUS MOON

After a VOID OF COURSE DAY, MOON ENTERS AQUARIUS at 3:14pm EST on Thursday, November 23 and remains here until Saturday, November 25 at 9:37pm. At this time the MOON GOES VOID OF COURSE for the rest of the night. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Sextile Saturn in Sagittarius. During the lengthy V/C periods, we are likely to feel like not much is being accomplished. It behooves us not to initiate important practical actions during this time. Best to wait until the Moon enters Aquarius. Enjoy the slow fluidity of Thanksgiving and the accessibility to the imagination that the Void of Course Moon offers. This Fixed Water Sign has Saturn as its traditional ruler, before Uranus, its modern ruler was discovered in 1781. So Aquarius feels very comfortable with this Last Aspect. The Sextile indicates an active and harmonious relationship where opportunities are likely to be available. Aquarius, as Water Bearer, bestows its knowledge in broad circulation. Uranus rules the digital world - so this is a GOOD time to distribute information or publish writing on the internet. The conventional world meets the New Age. Maintaining past traditions that still work can support innovative and enlightened thought. Aquarius/Uranus can deliver the unexpected. May your Thanksgiving Day bring you an enlightening surprise!
AQUARIUS SCENE FOR THE DAY: West Wing, "The US Poet Laureate," Season 3 Episode 16, 2002; Director: Christopher Misiano; Writer: Aaron Sorkin. Though I couldn't find a clip for this scene, I couldn't resist telling you about it...Laura Dern plays the poet with a major resistance to landmines. She won't attend the dinner in her honor unless she gets to speak out against their use. Communications Director Toby Ziegler (Richard Schiff) has a hard time talking her down. He tries to tell her it's disastrously bad political timing. After she has a bit of a breakdown (before breakthrough) she realizes, while having an enlightened Uranian position, she doesn't know about the bigger political picture and is willing to listen to Saturnine Toby. They simultaneously see the opportunity for a compromise and she's satisfied with the deal. The dialogue is so beautifully written and so open-heartedly delivered. I wish I could offer it to you here and now. But today I'm just thankful for Sorkin's imagination.

NOVEMBER 21-23: CAPRICORN MOON

MOON ENTERS CAPRICORN at 2:14am EST on Tuesday, November 21 and remains here until 5:33am on Thursday, November 23. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Square Uranus in Aries. Ruled by Saturn, this Cardinal Earth sign Moon is likely to encounter unexpected conflicts. Saturn rules form and structure and is associated with the limiting of space. The Uranus principle is motivated by the need for Freedom and is driven to separate or break down these structures. Saturn reflects convention, tradition and the past. Uranus points to the future with innovative thinking and technological inventions. Saturn rules that which has crystallized. In the body it rules bones and teeth. Move consciously now as we don't want these structures to break!
The emotion-based Moon is in detriment in Capricorn, the opposite sign to its ruler, Cancer. We'll tend to see restraint in the expression of feelings now. So be it. You'll talk when you're ready. The natural Capricorn ambition to succeed may also be thwarted now. The power of conventional authority figures, both collective (think government, church and corporations) and personal (the traditional Father Archetype) is being disrupted. In general, actions initiated during this Moon period tend to have CHALLENGING resolutions.

NOTE: Refer back to the September 4th post regarding Uranus in its late degrees of Aries being the most common planet as Last Aspect. Every time a planet moves through a Cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn) it has, and will, engage this late-degree Uranus as a hard Last Aspect. Uranus is working something out now. Each planetary archetype will have its own arena that is going through a major Uranian change. For Capricorn, it signifies the ongoing breaking apart of the Saturnian Archetype. It's likely these structures no longer serve us. We might also keep in mind to hold on to what still works about our traditions while being willing to let go of what doesn't.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kehu8QBHCCk
CAPRICORN SCENE FOR THE DAY: "Goodbye, Lenin!" Germany, 2003; Director: Wolfgang Becker. The Berlin Wall has just come down. East German Alex (Daniel Brühl), whose nationalistic mother has just awakened from being in a coma, is afraid the shock will kill her. In this comedy-esque story Alex, a satellite system salesman, sets up a fictitious reality at their home where the old conservative German party still rules! Of course, his mother eventually discovers the radical change to her beloved country - the literal Uranian tearing down of the Saturnian wall and all that that implies. This is an endearing, small family story about this huge paradigm shift which shook the world. Roger Ebert, in his informative review of the film, refers to the mother's natural inclination to hold on to the past because it is part of her and what she knows. With the courage and trust to let go, though, how surprisingly liberating a Liberation can feel.

NOVEMBER 18-20: SAGITTARIUS MOON

MOON IS VOID OF COURSE until 1:59pm EST on Saturday, November 18 when it ENTERS SAGITTARIUS. It remains here until Monday, November 20 at 7:26pm when it goes VOID OF COURSE for the rest of the night. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius. Actions initiated during the V/C period tend not to work out as planned. It's best to use this time for inner creative work or planning future actions. Ruled by Jupiter, the expansive Mutable Fire Sagittarius Moon is not happy to be limited by Saturn. We are likely to have the urge to think big or take off independently on an adventure, but Saturn brings a reality check that has us reconsider or circumstances that prohibit action altogether. Perhaps it serves us to use Saturn's energy for seriously considering the bigger picture of our situation. Perhaps a religious or spiritual perspective is especially appropriate now. Actions, in general, tend to have Challenging resolutions mostly because our emotions or natural exuberance/optimism may feel inhibited
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ms4E1BbHI8g
SAGITTARIUS SCENE FOR THE DAY: Thor: Ragnarok, 2017; Director: Taika Waititi. On a lighter note...The 'Strongest Avenger' Thor (Chris Hemsworth) gets blown off by the computer ("Access Denied") as he attempts to commandeer a spacecraft during his 'big adventure'. Then he's one-upped in by his once fellow Avenger...pretty funny stuff, actually...especially in 3D IMAX.

NOVEMBER 16-18: EXCELLENT SCORPIO MOON

MOON ENTERS SCORPIO at 3:19am EST on Thursday, November 16 and remains here until Saturday, November 18 at 6:42am when the NEW MOON IS EXACT. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Conjunct Sun in Scorpio. The NEW MOON begins a new lunar cycle and symbolizes a time for us to begin again too. Pluto rules Scorpio, and being the most distant planet from the Sun, moves very slowly. This quality reflects the in-depth work Scorpio can accomplish - a deep and enduring Phoenix-like Transformation. We are supported now in embarking on a journey of self-reflection and therapeutic analysis. We may have more access to the dark mysterious symbols of our unconsciousness and be more able to bring alchemical gold to light. Because this archetype also represents Resources, particularly other people’s or collective resources, it may be the perfect time to invest, to take out a loan to begin Renovations on your home or make a major purchase. Fixed Water sign Scorpio is very creative, so beginning any artistic project will be supported now. Scorpio also reflects our sexuality, the ultimate creative act, which may be front and center at this time. Actions initiated along all these themes will tend to have EXCELLENT results.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zymGiLJBpB8
SCORPIO SCENE FOR THE DAY: The Sessions, 2012; Director: Ben Lewin. John Hawkes, as polio victim Mark, leaves his iron lung long enough to enter the mystery of his sexuality with sex surrogate Helen Hunt. This is a remarkable independent film based on a true story and told with surprising levity. We witness a profound Scorpio transformation indeed! Winner of the Audience Award and Special Jury Prize at Sundance and nominated for Best Actor and Actress by the Golden Globes and Best Actress by the Academy Awards, this is a major crowd pleaser!

NOVEMBER 13-15: VOID OF COURSE → LIBRA MOON

MOON REMAINS IN VIRGO until 10:45am EST on Monday, November 13 when it goes VOID OF COURSE until 6:26pm. MOON ENTERS LIBRA at 6:26pm and remains here until Wednesday, November 15 at 7:50pm. At this time the MOON GOES VOID OF COURSE for the rest of the night. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Sextile Saturn in Sagittarius. Most of this day is likely to be on the dreamy side, recovering from the overly detailed day yesterday. Don't expect much practical work to be accomplished and let yourself off the hook for not doing what you think you should be doing! Notice where your imagination takes you and see if there's any creative or helpful information there. Actions initiated during the V/C Moon period tend not to work out as planned. In Libra, the Moon is ruled by Venus. This Cardinal Air sign now reflects our focus on relationships. The Sextile to Saturn Last Aspect can sometimes indicate the opportunity for a new love affair to enter  our lives. Saturn can reflect an older person, so the age difference may be significant. Any aspect to Saturn, though, also has its challenges, and this may be a serious time for partnerships, rather than romantic or playful. Best to stay appropriate to the indications and not to ask for what's not available at this time. It's a good time for practicing Libra's ability for compromise and negotiation. Actions initiated now tend to have GOOD resolutions.

LIBRA SCENE FOR THE DAY: Memoirs of a Geisha, 2005; Director: Rob Marshall. Young Chiyo (Suzuka Ohgo) meets the Chairman (Ken Watanabe) in this memorable scene where, as her older - now Geisha - character remembers in voice-over, her life was changed forever. Her heart has been opened to this elder, handsome kind man and she knows now what her path must be. Gorgeous film - one to be revisited.

NOVEMBER 11-13: VIRGO MOON

MOON ENTERS VIRGO at 11:41am EST on Saturday, November 11 after a VOID OF COURSE morning. It remains in Virgo until 10:45am on Monday, November 13. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Square Saturn in Sagittarius. Ruled by Mercury, this Mutable Earth sign is likely to be limited in its natural benefits of clear-headed analysis and discernment. We may encounter the critical and judgmental side of Virgo, so try not to be too affected by someone's controlling need for picky perfection. It's best, instead, to turn our attention towards creating order in our close environments - clean house...in all manner of speaking. Virgo Moons almost always support us in mentally and physically organizing our lives. Virgo loves it when we use our hands to make things! And it's so satisfying to take advantage of its inclination for being useful. In other scenarios though, such as accomplishing Virgonian writing tasks or teaching, actions initiated at this time tend to have Challenging resolutions.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IaJOLWTKMM
VIRGO SCENE FOR THE DAY: Victoria and Abdul, 2017; Director: Stephen Frears. Judi Dench dons the British crown once again as Queen Victoria embarking on conflict-provoking relationship with a young Muslim visitor to the palace. In this scene we witness her eagerness for Abdul (Ali Fazal) to teach her to write 'Indian' as her jealous children eavesdrop on the other side of the door. Their disapproval sets up the first of their many attempts to put an end to the new friends' increasingly embarrassing closeness. This story is based on the real-life relationship between the Queen and her menshi, or teacher. While the film is uneven and could use more celluloid on the cutting room floor (to use an ancient expression), this is a well-acted and endearing film.

NOVEMBER 9-11: EXCELLENT LEO MOON

MOON ENTERS LEO at 7:29am EST on Thursday, November 9 and remains here until Saturday, November 11 at 3:55am. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Trine Uranus in Aries. Ruled by the Sun, this Fixed Fire sign is energized by Uranus and actions initiated now are likely to have exciting results. It's time to play again while remembering not to hog center stage. Creative energy abounds so use it wisely. You may experience unexpected changes to your plans but with the 120º Trine angle, they should lead you in the right direction. Uranus rules the electronic arena so innovative work on any digital device should be successful. Remember Leo's child-of-the-zodiac default nature wants to be the center of attention. Enjoy the drama! Just remember to be responsible for the result and...be willing to share the limelight! Actions initiated now tend to have Excellent resolutions.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXldzNF7Y4Q
LEO SCENE FOR THE DAY: Bridesmaids, 2011; Director: Paul Feig. Kristen Wiig has no problem stealing scenes - and being responsible for the drama she creates. As rejected best friend to the Bride-to-be she kicks up a storm of hurt and playful revenge. Her childish style of getting the attention of potential love interest, local cop Chris O'Dowd, in order to help her find her missing friend is memorable and a perfect example of Leo gone very wrong... then very right!

URANUS TRINE SATURN TRANSIT

The Mutilation of Uranus by Saturn, fresco by Giorgio Vasari and Cristofano Gherardi, c. 1560 (on the ceiling of the room of the Elements, Sala di Cosimo I, Palazzo Vecchio)

TRANSIT OF URANUS TRINE SATURN: November 5-12
Hesiod's Theogony tells us that the Sky God Ouranos, Uranus, mated with Gaia, the Earth, producing children: the Cyclopes, the Hekatonkheires and the Titans. Uranus hated his children because, as the story goes, their physical appearance was not pleasing to him. He hid them away chained within the depths of Gaia. This pained Gaia enormously, so she asked her children to kill their father. Only the youngest Titan, Kronus (Saturn), wanting to prove his courage and love for his mother, responded.  With the scythe fashioned by Gaia, Saturn castrated his father, then cut him into pieces and threw them into the sea. Out of the sea foam emerged Aphrodite (Venus), Goddess of Beauty and Love.

A family narrative not unfamiliar in so many other Oedipal-like versions! I tell this myth as preface to the description of the current Uranus Trine to Saturn. Brief though the exact 120º angle may be, it suggests a harmony between the two inherently conflicting planetary archetypes.

THE SATURN ARCHETYPE: Saturn reflects the principle of Form and Structure; Structures limit Space. We tend to experience encounters with Saturn as limiting. However the other end of Saturn's spectrum of expression is the treasured ability for Manifestation, the ability to bring to Form - often the ultimate goal of life on the material plane. Saturn also rules Time and is a symbol for Old Age and Death. It suggests hardening or the crystallization of the body's structures, so it refers to bones and teeth. Saturn moves slowly and is said to 'delay, but not deny.' It is associated with the past and traditional, set-in-their-ways, concepts. Saturn rules Capricorn.

THE URANUS ARCHETYPE: Uranus reflects the principle of Separation. Signifying the drive to Break Things Apart, it rules Revolution and Freedom; the Innovative, Unique and Unusual. It is associated with a fast vibration and rules Electricity and the Electronic arena - and more broadly, Science and Technology. Its effects are often Surprising and even Shocking, like Lightening. It is Future oriented and rules Aquarius. Cultural Historian Richard Tarnas relates this archetype to revolutionary Prometheus who defied Zeus to bring Fire to humans.

We begin to see the opposing characteristics between the Saturn and Uranus principles.

THE CHIRON ARCHETYPE: Interestingly, the large asteroid Chiron orbits the Sun between Saturn and Uranus. Barbara Hand Clow, author of Chiron: Rainbow Bridge Between Inner and Outer Planets, suggests that Chiron, whose archetype is called The Wounded Healer, negotiates the two principles - a kind of reconciliation between the opposites, building connections between past traditions and future innovation. Mythological Chiron was a teacher of medicine and the alternative healing arts of homeopathy and chiropractry as well as a mentor in ethics, music and martial arts. Those with a prominent natal Chiron are often mavericks, grounding new ideas in traditional form. Activating and honoring Chiron can result in 'teaching from the place where we have been wounded.'

EXCELLENT RESOLUTION: The current Trine between Uranus at 25º Aries and Saturn at 25º Sagittarius suggests that the Bridge is accessible: the opportunity for success in initiating innovative or even revolutionary ideas and having them grounded in enduring time. As the 30th Hexagram of the I Ching teaches, the passion and upward movement of these Fire signs requires the stabilizing quality of Earth for any lasting influence. Take advantage of this celestial metaphor. Find where your enthusiasm flourishes; use your imagination and skill for practical craftmanship to manifest your vision...What have you learned from your past initiations? Teach from where you have been wounded.
William Blake's Ancient of Days
"I must Create a System, or be enslav'd by another Man's. I will not Reason & Compare; my business is to Create." (Spoken by Los in Blake's Jerusalem The Emanation of the Giant Albion.)

...And out of the sea foam emerged Aphrodite (Venus), Goddess of Beauty and Love.

NOVEMBER 7-9: CHALLENGING CANCER MOON

MOON ENTERS CANCER on Tuesday, November 7 at 5:44am EST and remains here until Thursday, November at 0:14am. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Square Uranus in Aries. Ruled by the Moon, this Cardinal Water sign tends to be highly emotional, dependent and wants to stay close to home. The Feminine Archetype is highlighted with The Mother being at the center of the narrative. We tend to be protective of others now, especially those we love and who may feel particularly vulnerable. We want to create a nourishing womb for them in which to feel secure. Good food, the feeling of belonging and warmth from the cool autumn weather helps enormously. Just be conscious that you may be extending yourself too far when the object of your support may need more space. With the Uranus Last Aspect, it's very possible that the protective container upon which we depend may be upset in some unexpected way. In general, actions initiated during this Moon period tend to have CHALLENGING results.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21GNd7Dn8aU
CANCER SCENE FOR THE DAY: Thirteen, 2003; Director: Catherine Hardwicke. Mom has a major meltdown in Hardwicke's directorial debut. Holly Hunter, as Mother to thirteen year old Tracy (Evan Rachel Wood) is barely keeping it together when her daughter decides to walk on the wild side with popular girl Evie, played by thirteen year old co-writer of the script, Nikki Reed. All kinds of Uranian hell breaks loose when they step over the line. Hardwicke soon went on to direct Lords of Dogtown and the first film of the Twilight trilogy. She won Best Director for U.S. Drama at Sundance for this film.

NOVEMBER 5-7: EXCELLENT GEMINI MOON

MOON ENTERS GEMINI at 5:26am EDT on Sunday, November 5 and remains here until Tuesday, November 7 at 5:39am. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Trine Venus 💖 in Libra. Ruled by Mercury, this Mutable Air sign is a GREAT TIME to make a connection with a new relationship, have some amazing conversations or take off on a trip with someone you really enjoy. It's also a GREAT time to begin pretty much any type of project - because just about everything necessitates some form of relating. Venus Blesses what she touches. This is Writer's heaven - ideas and finding just the right word should flow easily. The trick is to stay on track. Gemini tends to wander. Take advantage of these Great Days this month because on the 29th Mercury once again Stations Retrograde - actually turning Retrograde on December 3 - and communication won't be as reliable for about three to four weeks. Actions initiated now are likely to have EXCELLENT results!
NOTE: Don't Forget to Set Clocks BACK an Hour This Morning!

GEMINI SCENE OF THE DAY
: Top Gun, 1986; Director: Tony Scott. Gemini does things in two's. Here we have two couples engaging in all kinds of communication! And best friends/fly boys Maverick (Tom Cruise) and Goose (Anthony Edwards ) even have Mercury's wings on their feet. An early Meg Ryan scene stealer! Kelly McGillis as Charlie. Goodness! Gracious! Great balls of Fire!

🌑 NOVEMBER 3-5: CHALLENGING TAURU$ FULL MOON

MOON ENTERS TAURU$ on Friday, November 3 at 5:46am EDT and remains here until Sunday, November 5 at 3:29am. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Opposite Mercury in Scorpio. FULL MOON is exact at 11º Taurus at 1:23am EDT on Saturday morning. Ruled by Venus, this Fixed Earth sign reflects What we Value and how we provide Security to protect it. It is considered the Money sign. If the Last Aspect were a positive angle, such as a 60º Sextile or 120º Trine, this would indicate a great time for purchases. However, the 180º Opposition to Mercury suggests that the result would not be beneficial. Mercury indicates that some communication or information is not accurate. Or perhaps our transportation to the location of the purchase breaks down. Mercury is also the Trickster, so some Scorpionic kind of joke (involving resources, quite possibly) or hurtful impulsive speech may come your way. You may sense a secret is being withheld. In any case, the likely outcome is not enticing! The FULL MOON is a time of culmination. As we build towards early Saturday morning the energy may feel increasingly intense. Breathe through any tension and dig deep to find your compromise. Enjoy your Taurean creature comforts, make sure your environment is aesthetically pleasing and try not to be too stubborn! Get out on the land and enjoy nature...and wait to purchase anything extravagant.

TAURUS SCENE FOR THE DAY: Gone With the Wind, 1939; Directors: Victor Fleming and George Cukor. A classic moment with two of the most stubborn female characters in American cinema - Scarlett and her Mammy (Vivien Leigh and Hattie McDaniel)! They both also make use of their negotiating skills to find their way to successful resolution. And of course, there's no one more deeply connected with her Taurus land and property than Ms. O'hara. I bet this scene will bring back some good memories...
