This New Moon period is an EXCELLENT time for beginning a new endeavor! There should be an abundance of practical, disciplined and ambitious energy to accomplish whatever you desire. Ruled by Pluto and Mars, this Fixed Water sign Moon reflects an emotional period and can go psychologically deep to penetrate hidden resources and reveal vehicles for Healing. Our abilities for transformation are enhanced - we see how to eliminate what no longer serves us and create conscious choices of how to be in the world. It's a very creative time in general - remember Scorpio reflects that primal force which can plummet to the depths of consciousness and birth all forms of Life and Art. SCENE FOR THE DAY: Primal Fear, 1996; Director: Gregory Hoblit. In this psychological thriller Richard Gere, as attorney Martin Vale, defends accused murderer Aaron Stampler, played brilliantly by Edward Norton in his film debut.  While on the stand Aaron is goaded by Vale to reveal his split personality through the persona of bad boy Roy. He is declared not guilty by reason of insanity and remanded to a maximum security mental hospital by Judge Alfre Woodard. In this final scene we see the stinging climactic moment of the second revelation. It will indeed be a new chapter for Stampler!
