JUNE 21-23: EXCELLENT GEMINI MOON

MOON IS VOID OF COURSE ALL DAY until 6:44pm EDT on Wednesday, June 21. At this time it ENTERS GEMINI and remains here until Friday, June 23 at 2:45pm. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Sextile Uranus in Aries. SUMMER SOLSTICE is exact at 0:24am Wednesday, June 21. See previous post for more on the Solstice. Important practical actions initiated during this V/C Moon Day tend not to work out as planned. It's best to use this time for inner creative work or planning future actions. Ruled by Mercury, this Mutable Air sign reflects the arenas of Communication, Travel and Mind Processes. Given that Uranus is considered the higher resonance and collective symbol of Mercury, the current alignment is strong and suggests that actions initiated within these themes tend to have EXCELLENT results. This is an electric Moon period with the possibility for strokes of genius. We are likely to be driven to collect information through conversing, reading and writing at this time. Digital communication is particularly successful now as Uranus rules electronic devices. Both Mercury and Uranus are very changeable so don't be deterred from your goal if things shift unexpectedly. This is likely to be very much to your advantage and offer opportunities for successful completion of your project. This is an excellent time to begin a new trip, piece of writing or speaking engagement.

SCENE FOR THE DAY: Gifted, 2017; Director: Marc Webb. Math prodigy runs in Mary's family. Nine year old McKenna Grace plays Mary Adler who has lived with her uncle Frank (Chris Evans), since her mom died. He has home schooled her until now, but recognizing her Mercury/Uranus genius and believing she needs to get her mind off of differential equations and make some friends, sends her to public school. This is a surprisingly wonderful film with a perfect cast (Octavia Spencer, Lindsay Duncan and Jenny Slate) and it will totally win your heart.
