After a VOID OF COURSE MORNING, the MOON ENTERS GEMINI at 12:40pm EDT on Friday, March 31 and remains here until Sunday, April 2 at 10:43am. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Opposite Saturn in Sagittarius. Actions initiated during the Void of Course hours tend not to work out as planned. This time is best utilized for inner creative work or planning future action. Themes of Communication and Travel
are highlighted now for this Mercury-ruled Gemini Moon. The Winged Messenger of the Gods,
however, may be undermined from outside forces, as indicated by the opposition to Saturn. Gemini is the information gatherer, oriented towards specifics. Check and double check
your facts now. Sagittarius' inclination for inflation may exaggerate
the Truth or augment abstractions and philosophy over details. Information flow may be impeded. Pay attention to themes of duality, either/or situations and remember to
balance this perspective with the whole picture or context. Stand in
the Other's shoes. Religious literalism or conservatism
may undermine Gemini's logical rationalism. Gemini's myth of the twins may manifest as issues between siblings. Actions initiated
during this period, especially travel plans or situations that don't marry the Gemini/Sagittarius opposition (the details
and the whole picture), tend to have CHALLENGING
results. Check vehicles, schedules and information before you leave the
house.
SCENE FOR THE DAY: Warrior, 2011; Director: Gavin O'Connor. Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton are Tommy and Brendon Conlan, brothers at war. Communications between the two have been damaged ever since their mother and father split. This film is a magnificent reflection of Gemini siblings who oppose each other vehemently and how they find their way to reconciliation. The first scene explains the polar perspectives that divide them. The second scene is what screenwriters refer to as the 'obligatory scene' of the protagonist and antagonist finally engaging in the action that leads to resolution. This is a powerful film that offers brilliant acting within a classic archetypal narrative. Interestingly, writer/director O'Connor has his North/South Node axis at a Gemini/Sagittarius opposition. He would be a perfect vehicle for this story. His South Node in Sag reflects his original orientation and Gemini North Node symbolizes the direction life wants to take him, his destiny. Our work is to honor both ends of the polarity while moving in the direction of the North Node archetype.
