APRIL 2-4: EXCELLENT CANCER MOON

MOON REMAINS IN GEMINI until 10:48am EDT on Sunday, April 2 when it goes VOID OF COURSE. Actions initiated during this V/C period tend not to work out as planned or desired. It's best to use this energy for creative inner work and envisioning future actions. At 2:27pm MOON ENTERS CANCER and remains until Tuesday, April 4 at 4:45pm. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Trine Venus in Pisces. The Moon in its own sign of Cardinal Water Cancer is very strong now. Its natural qualities of subjectivity, changeability and emotionality are very likely to show themselves. Move through any moodiness you may feel as quickly as possible - use the Moon's natural inconstant nature to go with the flow. Speak your truth as it is likely to be well received at this time. Try not to take things too personally, especially circumstances or memories from the Past. Step back and try hard to see things through the other's perspective. With the Last Aspect Trine Venus, the two Feminine signs are in harmony today which reflects successful relationships with Women. Indeed, Cancer reflects The Mother archetype. While sensitivity is high, this period should emphasize being inclusive and nurturing others. Home and Family are in focus and Blessed at this time. Actions initiated during this period are very likely to have EXCELLENT results. Be sure to cook a special meal. It will most definitely be appreciated.

SCENE FOR THE DAY: The Kids Are All Right, 2010; Director: Lisa Cholodenko. In this emotional scene, Julianne Moore as Jules apologizes to her modern family for her infidelity with the kids' sperm donor (Mark Ruffalo). She and her partner Nic (Annette Bening) are the colorful 'Moms' of teenagers Joni and Laser (Mia Wasikowska and Josh Hutcherson). While the film is primarily a comedy, poignant moments such as this one reveal the challenges that two women face when raising children in an innovative family structure. Because their love is strong and they express The Feminine archetype with such contemporary authenticity (and humor) they move through their struggles with dignity and ultimate success.
