MOON IN PISCES from 7:43am EDT on Wednesday Oct 12 until Friday October 14 at 2:13am. Ruled by Neptune this Mutable Water sign reflects the principle of Unity, All is One and One is All. There's a certain Platonic Ideal of Wholeness and Perfection in Neptune/Pisces. It represents the Cosmic Sea of the Divine, Dreams and the transporting experience of Art and Music. It's least optimum expression is the disillusionment of the lack of perfection and unity in our daily lives and the consequent urge to escape from reality that often ensues. Hence Neptune/Pisces rules drugs, alcohol and illusion-making media such as film and photography. The veil between worlds is lifted in Neptune/Pisces and the other world appears knowable. It is is the arena of Magic and The Visionary.

LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Trine Venus in Scorpio. Actions initiated in these aforementioned areas of Neptune/Pisces during this period will tend to have EXCELLENT resolutions. Venus blesses what it touches, especially with the Trine, Sextile and Conjunction aspects. Also, since Neptune is considered the higher octave of Venus, this current configuration is particularly strong. There is likely to be a longing for perfection and completion/wholeness. We are often able to satisfy this yearning with intangibles of Beauty such as Art and Music. This moment in time feels particularly open to being transported to an ideal reality where who we are, what we want and what we can offer feels enough; if we're really lucky we may feel embraced by the Other and know Divine Love. The primary caution now is not to be swept away by the deception of idealistic romance, the urge to escape too far with drugs or alcohol or excessive binge-watching videos! 

SCENE OF THE DAY: Truly Madly Deeply, 1990; Writer/Director: Anthony Minghella. This jewel of a film is representative of almost every element of the Pisces Moon Trine Venus. It is a beautiful and poignant love story in which the sweetest music is the vehicle for an ideal vision. Nina, played so authentically by Juliet Stevenson, has lost her Jamie, played by truly, sadly, deeply deceased Alan Rickman, and in this scene conjures him back through their co-creative life of music.
