MOON IS IN ARIES (see January 31) until 11:50am EST on Thursday, the 2nd, when it goes VOID OF COURSE for the rest of the day until 8:50pm. Important practical actions initiated during the V/C period will
tend to not work out as planned. Use this time for inner, creative
work or to imagine future action.
MOON ENTERS TAURUS at 8:50pm and remains here until Saturday, February 4 at 5:42pm. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon in Taurus Trine Mercury in Capricorn . Now is the time for putting your plans into action! Ruled by Venus, Fixed Earth sign Taurus is the Master Builder manifesting what it desires
into form - and this form must be a thing of Beauty, pleasing the Senses. Considered the Money sign, we should have the personal
resources to accomplish this now; this is the time for purchasing that beautiful objet d'art for your home you've been wanting for so long! Taurus asks us to consider and be clear about what we Value, not merely accepting what others think is important. One of his driving motivations is to provide Security for those he loves. Imagine how you might do that. If there's a need to travel or communicate
important elements of a project, we are supported in that area by Mercury's presence. Actions initiated during this Moon period are likely to have EXCELLENT results. Just remember the fixed nature of Taurus can be immune to flexibility and negotiating skills; if he goes too far, he can be the Bully. Not Acceptable.
SCENE FOR THE DAY:Witness, 1985; Director: Peter Weir. Master Builder Harrison Ford helps an Amish community raise a barn which will help provide security for a newlywed couple. Aided by that Capricorn Mercury, there sure are a lot of hammers bangin' in a lot of nails in this clip. It's pretty cool to watch a barn raising, witnessing what raw strength can be harnessed when the whole village gets to work! We also notice Venus subtly showing her face as a 'love-triangle' is born - Amish-style...strict traditional rules are honored and no bullies allowed. Kelly McGillis, as Rachel, must discern for herself what she values most, her family and community or the exciting love of an outsider.
