MOON ENTERS LIBRA on Thursday, May 24 at 2:52am EDT and remains here until Friday, May 25 at 5:03pm when it goes VOID OF COURSE for the rest of the night. LAST ASPECT OF MOON: Moon Square Pluto in Capricorn. Ruled by Venus, this
Cardinal Air sign reflects Relationships, Beauty, Equality and Art. With
the Square to Pluto which conjures up raw power, resources and depth
psychology we might see some power struggles ensue between partners and
relationships with women (Moon). Breathe through the tension, trusting
you'll find your way to Libra's natural ability for compromise and
negotiation. You may be drawn to purchase something beautiful and
valuable now, but the advice is to restrain yourself and wait for a more
propitious time. If any legal concerns are present, this is not a great
time to act. Again, find patience. Be bold and find a reason to
postpone a court date. Actions along these themes are likely to have
Challenging resolutions. Remember actions during Void of Course Moons don't tend to yield resolutions we're expecting.
LIBRA FILM SCENE: Double Jeopardy, 1999; Director: Bruce Beresford. Ashley Judd, as trophy wife Libby turned bass-ass, is framed for her husband's (Bruce Greenwood) murder. She has to leave her young son and is incarcerated for a long time in this Love Hurts thriller - and the Libran scales are tipped way off balance! Tommy Lee Jones stars as her parole officer who, after she bails, spends the rest of the movie chasing her down - just like his role in the classic The Fugitive. Though the plot may be hackneyed, these two actors have great chemistry and pull off very believable tension. We root for her through the whole film as she journeys to a Plutonian underworld to do whatever it takes to get her son back. This clip is the prison scene where an ex-lawyer, present-con, educates her about double jeopardy - and boy does she take it to heart!
